PAOK FC have signed two Greek internationals. Left-back Giorgos Tzavellas, 25, arrives on a free transfer from AS Monaco FC, signing a four-year contract. He said: "I have come to a prestigious, well organised club with great supporters. It doesn’t get bigger than that for a professional player. He is joined by Sotiris Ninis from Parma FC on a one-year loan. The 23-year old attacking midfielder, who made his Panathinaikos FC debut aged 16, said: "I am very happy to join a team full of Greek international players. I wanted the next step in my career to be a solid one, in a familiar environment where I can adapt easily. PAOK provides this environment and I am very satisfied to be here and I will do my best to help the team achieve their objectives."

European debutants CS Pandurii Târgu Jiu have replaced Evian Thonon Gaillard-bound midfielder Dan Nistor with 20-year-old Chilean forward Diego Rubio on a season-long loan from Sporting Clube de Portugal with the option to buy.

The 25-year-old Ibraimi has the option to make his deal permanent at the end of the campaign. "I have always wanted to play in Seria A, so it's my childhood dream come true,"  Ibraimi told the Cagliari website.

Esbjerg fB have signed Norway Under-21 captain Mushaga Bakenga on a one-year loan from Club Brugge KV, with the attacker having spent last season on loan with their local rivals KSV Cercle Brugge. "We have spent some time on finding the right club for me, and I have heard positive things about Esbjerg from my team-mate Jesper Jørgensen, who is a former Esbjerg player," explained the 21-year-old. " I am looking forward to giving something back to Esbjerg so that both parties get something out of the deal." Meanwhile, Denmark Under-21 international Ryan Laursen has penned a four-year contract with the club. "Esbjerg have impressed me in recent years, with their support, stadium and way of playing," said the full-back who joins from Lyngby BK.

Eintracht Frankfurt have taken FC Schalke 04 midfielder Tranquillo Barnetta on loan for the rest of the 2013/14 season. The versatile Switzerland midfielder, who can play on the wings or in a holding position, joined Schalke from Bayer 04 Leverkusen a year ago but the 20202 UEFA European Under-17 Championship winner was unable to secure a regular starting place, and has moved partly to keep his FIFA World Cup hopes alive. "I am incredibly happy that it has just worked out and am looking forward to getting to know the city and the team," the 28-year-old said. "But first I have to travel to the national team and will return to Frankfurt together with Pirmin Schwegler in ten days."
