Following today's decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to reject the appeal made by Beşiktaş JK against the UEFA Appeals Body decision of 15 July 2013 excluding the Turkish club for a year for match-fixing, the UEFA Emergency Panel held a meeting this morning.
The UEFA Emergency Panel, which is composed of five members of the UEFA Executive Committee, decided to reinstate Tromsø IL – who had lost to Beşiktaş JK in the play-off round – for the remainder of the 2013/14 UEFA Europa League.
As a consequence, the Norwegian club will now be included in the UEFA Europa League group stage draw which will take place on 30 August at 13.00CET in Monaco, streamed on UEFA.com.
