Uruguay Under-20 midfielder Sebastián Cristóforo insisted he would give his all for Sevilla FC after completing a reported €2.25m switch to the south of Spain from CA Peñarol.
Scorer of one goal in 44 top-flight games over three seasons for Montevideo-based Peñarol, the 19-year-old arrives at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán on a five-year contract and said he was looking forward to the challenge of breaking into Unai Emery's side. "I have arrived at a great club," the FIFA U-20 World Cup runner-up said. "It's a big opportunity for me and I am so happy. I can't wait to get going. I will look to give my all at every moment and in whatever position I am asked to play in order to help the team."
The 2006 and 2007 UEFA Cup winners recently overcame FK Mladost Podgorica in the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round to set up a play-off meeting with WKS Śląsk Wrocław which takes place on 22 and 29 August.
