Sevilla FC have lost José Antonio Reyes for Thursday's UEFA Europa League third qualifying round second leg at FK Mladost Podgorica after the 29-year-old attacker suffered a partial tear to the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
The former Arsenal FC, Real Madrid CF, SL Benfica and Club Atlético de Madrid winger sustained the injury in the 19th minute of Sevilla's 3-0 first-leg win against the Montenegrin team last Thursday. After undergoing a series of tests, he has been ruled out of action for at least two months. The 2006 and 2007 UEFA Cup winners will take a commanding lead to Montenegro for this week's return encounter after new signings Carlos Bacca and Daniel Carriço scored either side of a Diego Perotti penalty at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.
