Valencia CF have re-signed versatile attacker Míchel after the UEFA Europa League challengers activated a buy-back clause in the 24-year-old's contract with Levante UD.
Valencia academy product Míchel moves back to the east-coast club where he made 16 Liga appearances between 2008 and 2010, before being loaned to RC Deportivo La Coruña and Hércules CF. He will have a three-year deal after Valencia agreed to pay a fee estimated at around €420,000.
The former Spanish Under-21 international joined Levante last summer, featuring in 37 top-flight games last term, scoring five goals, while also helping the Granotes to the UEFA Europa League's last 16. New Valencia coach Miroslav Djukić will lead the fifth-place Liga finishers into the 2013/14 UEFA Europa League group stage.
