FC Internazionale Milano have signed striker Tommaso Rocchi from S.S. Lazio on a six-month contract for a fee in the region of €400,000.
The 35-year-old, restricted to three Serie A appearances this season, leaves the Biancocelesti after more than eight years at the club he joined from Empoli FC in 2004. "I made this choice with an eye to my future," explained Rocchi. "I still feel good. I am happy and I am looking forward to starting this new adventure. I am here because I feel I still have something to give, even if it wasn't easy to leave Lazio after so many years. I will always love them."
Inter face CFR 1907 Cluj in the UEFA Europa League round of 32 on 14 and 21 February, with Lazio up against VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach on the same dates. Lazio have also allowed midfielder Matuzalém to go out on loan to Genoa CFC with a view to a permanent move.
