Levante UD have continued to strengthen ahead of their debut European campaign with the signing of Senegalese international midfielder Papa Kouli Diop from Real Racing Club.
The 26-year-old, who arrives on a free transfer, has penned a three-year contract with Juan Ignacio Martínez's side, joining goalkeeper Keylor Navas, midfielders Pedro Ríos and Míchel and forward Ángel Rodríguez on the club's list of summer acquisitions.
He arrived in Europe to play for Stade Rennais FC in 2006 and went on to enjoy spells at Tours FC and Club Gimnàstic de Tarragona before moving to Racing, where he scored twice in 76 Liga appearances over the past three seasons.
Levante enter the UEFA Europa League at the play-off stage following their club-best finish of sixth in the 2011/12 Liga.
