S.S. Lazio, Beşiktaş JK, FC Salzburg, FC Steaua Bucureşti and Wisła Kraków recorded matchday six victories to earn a place in Friday's UEFA Europa League round of 32 draw.

Wisła did so in dramatic fashion, seemingly heading out despite a 2-1 win against FC Twente, already guaranteed to go through as Group K winners. Fulham FC were on the brink of qualifying at Wisła's expense, but conceded an equaliser in the third minute of added time at home to Odense BK to miss out by a point.

Lazio had little trouble doing what was required of them, defeating Sporting Clube de Portugal – already assured of top spot in Group D – 2-0 in Rome to finish clear of FC Vaslui, who lost by the same scoreline at FC Zürich.

Salzburg's path to second spot in their section was not quite as serene, the Austrian side coming from two goals down to win 3-2 against eliminated ŠK Slovan Bratislava. Paris Saint-Germain FC beat table-topping Athletic Club 4-2 but finished below Salzburg on head-to-head away goals.

FC Schalke 04 had already sewn up top spot in Group J but all three other teams could join them at kick-off. Maccabi Haifa FC missed a penalty as they lost to the German side, meaning Steaua clinched second spot with victory over AEK Larnaca FC.

In Istanbul, meanwhile, Beşiktaş JK triumphed 3-1 against Stoke City FC, who had Matthew Upson dismissed, to win Group E ahead of the visitors. Nine-man FC Dynamo Kyiv and Maccabi Tel-Aviv FC finished off the pace in third and fourth respectively after drawing 3-3.

In Group L, RSC Anderlecht and FC Lokomotiv Moskva were already guaranteed qualifiers, the Belgian side securing first place – and maintaining the group stage's only perfect record – courtesy of a 5-3 victory against their Russian visitors.

The final four round of 32 berths will be decided when the six remaining groups conclude on Thursday. Club Atlético de Madrid, SC Braga, FC Metalist Kharkiv, PSV Eindhoven, Legia Warszawa, R. Standard de Liège, Hannover 96 and PAOK FC are already through going into those fixtures.
