Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC will look to get their first UEFA Europa League Group C points on the board as PSV Eindhoven return to the Bloomfield Stadium.

Previous meetings
• The clubs are meeting for the first time in UEFA competition and this is also Hapoel's first competitive meeting with a Dutch side.

• PSV faced Hapoel's local rivals Bnei Yehuda Tel-Aviv FC in the 2009/10 UEFA Europa League play-offs, winning 1-0 at Bloomfield – the venue for the Hapoel game – and 1-0 again at home the following week.

• The PSV team for that last Bloomfield visit on 20 August 2009 was:
Isaksson, Kromkamp (Ojo 78), Carlos Salcido, Maza, Simons, Toivonen (Koevermans 69), Lazović (Amrabat 61), Pieters, Afellay, Dzsudzsák, Bakkal.

Match background
• Hapoel lost their opening two Group C games – suffering a 1-0 defeat at home by FC Rapid Bucureşti, before going down 3-2 at Legia Warszawa on matchday two.

• Hapoel had not conceded at home in four UEFA games (three wins and a draw) before they lost 1-0 against Rapid Bucureşti on matchday one.

• PSV are unbeaten in five European games (two draws and then three wins) since a 4-1 loss at SL Benfica in last season's UEFA Europa League quarter-finals.

• The Benfica loss remains their only defeat in eight away games in UEFA competition, which have also produced five wins and two draws for the Dutch side.

Team facts
• Hapoel's reserve goalkeeper Yarden Krishtul celebrates his 17th birthday on the eve of the PSV game.

• Hapoel coach Dror Kashtan is one of the most respected figures in Israeli football. The former defensive midfielder coached Israel from 2006 to 2010 and took Beitar Jerusalem FC and Bnei Yehuda Tel-Aviv into Europe, as well as Hapoel, whom he has led in three previous spells (1996-97, 1999-2004 and 2005-06).

• PSV boss Fred Rutten spent his entire career as a defender with FC Twente, moving on to the club's coaching staff, and taking charge from 1999 to 2001. He was then Guus Hiddink's assistant at PSV before a second spell at Twente and a season as FC Schalke 04 boss. He took sole command at PSV in 2009.
