Defender Kelvin Wilson could miss the rest of Celtic FC's UEFA Europa League group stage campaign after being ruled out for between eight and ten weeks with an Achilles tendon injury.
The 26-year-old picked up the problem during Wednesday's Scottish League Cup win against Ross County FC and his absence presents manager Neil Lennon with a defensive headache ahead of Celtic's Group I game against Udinese Calcio on Thursday, with Emilio Izaguirre, Cha Du-Ri and captain Scott Brown already sidelined.
"Kelvin will be out for anything between eight and ten weeks," confirmed Lennon after Saturday's 2-0 league victory against Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC. "He has torn his Achilles tendon and it's a big blow. We will have to rejig our defence once again for the game against Udinese."
