Defender Michael Dawson could miss much of Tottenham Hotspur FC's UEFA Europa League group stage campaign after sustaining an Achilles tendon injury.
The Tottenham captain, who sat out Saturday's 2-0 Premier League victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, picked up the injury in training and is expected to be sidelined for up to two months. His absence will come as a blow to manager Harry Redknapp ahead of Spurs' UEFA Europa League Group A opener at PAOK FC on Thursday.
A two-month lay-off for 27-year-old centre-back Dawson would leave Tottenham without their four-times capped England international for four of their six group stage matches.
