Paris Saint-Germain FC and France centre-back Mamadou Sakho has been ruled out for three weeks after picking up a hamstring injury during the capital club's 1-1 draw at Stade Rennais FC on Saturday.

The 21-year-old defender has featured in both of PSG's Ligue 1 matches this term but will miss Les Rouge et Bleu's UEFA Europa League play-off first leg against FC Differdange 03 in Luxembourg on 18 August and is unlikely to be fit for the return in Paris on 25 August.

Sakho, capped four times by France, is also a doubt for his country's UEFA EURO 2012 Group D qualifying games away to Albania and Romania on 2 and 6 September.
