Paris Saint-Germain FC have reinforced their attacking options ahead of next season's UEFA Europa League campaign with the signing of French international Kevin Gameiro on a four-year deal from FC Lorient.
Gameiro scored an impressive 22 goals in 36 league matches last season and joins the capital club for a reported fee of around €15m. The 24-year-old made over 100 appearances for Lorient who finished 11th in the French top flight last term.
The former RC Strasbourg forward, who has five France caps and opened his international account with a fine right-footed volley in the 4-1 defeat of Ukraine on 6 June, was delighted to have signed for Les Rouge et Bleu who will go in search of their first Ligue 1 title since 1994 next term.
"I'm very happy to have signed here," said Gameiro. "I'm from the Paris region and PSG are the club of my heart. I love the Parc des Princes and I can't wait to play in the stadium. It's a club that I like a lot."
