The UEFA Europa League trophy will be delivered by UEFA to this season's final host city of Dublin at a special trophy handover ceremony at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, from 13.00 local time, on Tuesday 19 April.
UEFA President Michel Platini will pass on the trophy to Gerry Breen, lord mayor of Dublin, for the Irish capital city to keep and display to the public until the final, to be played at the Dublin Arena on Wednesday 18 May (kick-off 19.45 local). The ceremony will also be attended by representatives of Club Atlético de Madrid, the inaugural winners of the UEFA Europa League last season.
