Liverpool FC centre-back Jamie Carragher has signed a new contract keeping him at Anfield until June 2013.
The former England international, 32, has put pen to paper on the two-year extension to secure his future at the club where he made his debut in January 1997.
Now in his 15th senior season with the Reds, Carragher has made 442 Premier League appearance and counts the 2005 UEFA Champions League and 2001 UEFA Cup among the honours he has won as a Liverpool player.
Roy Hodgson's team face Merseyside rivals Everton FC on Sunday looking to climb out of the bottom three of the Premier League, before travelling to SSC Napoli in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday. Liverpool top Group K with four points from two games.
