Juventus will start their UEFA Europa League Group A campaign without striker Amauri after the 30-year-old picked up a thigh strain in his side's play-off second leg against SK Sturm Graz.
The Brazilian-born Italian international left the pitch before half-time during the 1-0 win in Turin on Thursday, scans revealing he had strained a muscle in his left thigh. He is expected to be out of action for the next 25 days, meaning he will miss the opening games of the new Serie A season. Amauri, who scored three times in Juve's four qualifying games, is also likely to sit out La Vecchia Signora's opening group-stage game against KKS Lech Poznań on 16 September.
