Japanese midfielder Shinji Kagawa is confident he will soon be an established member of the team after being unveiled at BV Borussia Dortmund.
An agreement to sign the Cerezo Osaka player, 21, was reached several months ago, but he only moved to Germany this week on a three-year deal. "The first training session was very tough," he admitted. "I can't say yet how long it will take before I get used to the physical game here in Germany, but I think that I will adapt to it very quickly and establish myself in the team."
Kagawa is also looking to get to grips with the German language, with coach Jürgen Klopp saying: "The language needs to be learned as quickly as possible. It makes communication with team-mates on and off the pitch a lot easier, and integration into the team a lot faster." Dortmund begin their European campaign in August's UEFA Europa League play-offs having finished fifth in the Bundesliga last season.
