French Cup winners Paris Saint-Germain FC have made a second summer recruit ahead of their European campaign, signing Brazilian midfielder Nenê from AS Monaco FC.
A fee reported to be around €5m has changed hands for the one-time RC Celta de Vigo player, 28, who has signed a three-year contract in the French capital. Nenê scored 14 goals in 34 league games last season, and said: "I chose PSG because they are a big team with fantastic fans and a great stadium. It reminds me of Brazil. Like PSG, I want to do well in the French league and in Europe."
Nenê and fellow newcomer Mathieu Bodmer, signed from Olympique Lyonnais, will look to earn a first-team place as PSG kick off their UEFA Europa League campaign in August's play-off round.
