Romanian side SC Vaslui have signed forward Rodolfo Bodipo on a one-year loan from RC Deportivo La Coruña ahead of their UEFA Europa League campaign.

The 32-year-old Equatorial Guinean international was born and brought up in Spain and is Vaslui's first signing since the arrival last month of former Real Madrid CF coach Juan Ramón López Caro. Bodipo began his career with lower-division side CD Isla Cristina and went on to play for RC Recreativo de Huelva, Real Racing Club and Deportivo Alavés before his 2006 switch to La Coruna.

Bodipo, who represents the nation of his parents' origin, has experience of more than 150 Liga games and played in Deportivo's 2008/09 UEFA Cup campaign. Vaslui, third in Romania last season, come into the UEFA Europa League in the play-off round on 19 and 26 August having been knocked out at that stage a year ago.
