Montpellier Hérault SC have bolstered their attack by signing Turkish international Hasan Kabze who is joined at the French club by Chile midfielder Marco Estrada.
Kabze arrives in Ligue 1 for an undisclosed fee following a four-year spell with Russian champions FC Rubin Kazan, for whom he played 53 top-flight games, scoring eight goals. The 28-year-old has penned a two-year contract with Montpellier, who begin their UEFA Europa League campaign in the third qualifying round on 29 July.
The former Galatasaray AŞ forward, capped seven times by his country, made three UEFA Europa League appearances for Rubin last term. He became Montpellier's second summer recruit after defender Garry Bocaly made permanent his loan from Olympique de Marseille.
The 27-year-old Estrada, meanwhile, has accepted a three-year deal with Montpellier, coming in from CF Universidad de Chile. The defensive midfielder has 22 international caps and appeared once at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, although that ended in a first-half red card in Chile's 2-1 group defeat by Spain. Montpellier finished fifth in Ligue 1 in 2009/10.
