Sporting Clube de Portugal have signed promising winger Diogo Salomão from Real Sport Clube.
The 21-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with Sporting, who will join the likes of Liverpool FC and Juventus in the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round. A product of the CF Estrela da Amadora youth system, Salomão made his debut for lower-division side Casa Pia AC before spending last season at the third-tier Massama club. He becomes Sporting's fifth new arrival of the summer.
"To be at Sporting is an indescribable sensation," the Portuguese Under-21 international said. "It's the dream of any player. I hope to play an important role in the team as soon as possible and write myself into the history of this great club."
