The inaugural UEFA Europa League final in Hamburg had it all: drama, excitement, tears, cheers and, in after extra time, a Club Atlético de Madrid side with plenty to celebrate.

The inaugural UEFA Europa League has brought no shortage of drama, excitement, tears and cheers since it kicked off in July. The final in Hamburg therefore had a lot to live up to and, with Club Atlético de Madrid edging out Fulham FC deep into extra time, it did not disappoint – except for the weather.
