Juventus have lost striker Amauri for both legs of their UEFA Europa League round of 16 tie against Fulham FC after the Brazilian suffered a left thigh injury in the early stages of Thursday's 0-0 draw against AFC Ajax.
The 29-year-old was replaced after 15 minutes as Juve held on for a 2-1 aggregate victory – thanks to Amauri's two goals last week in Amsterdam – to ensure a meeting with Fulham on 11 and 18 March. Amauri will be available for neither game after tests on Friday confirmed muscle damage that will rule him out for 25 days. Also on the sidelines for that tie due to a thigh injury is Gianluigi Buffon, who was ruled out for a month after being hurt in training on Wednesday; Alex Manninger took his place against Ajax.
