Valencia CF will go into Thursday's UEFA Europa League round of 32 tie against Club Brugge KV without half their first-choice defence after Bruno Saltor joined David Navarro on the sidelines with a sprained ankle.
Right-back Bruno suffered the injury in Saturday's 1-1 away draw against Real Sporting de Gijón, going off midway through the second half, and is expected to be out for four weeks. That means the 29-year-old, who has started all but two of Valencia's Liga games this season, will also miss next week's second leg against Club Brugge in Spain. Central defender Navarro is ruled out with a torn thigh muscle.
