UEFA Europa League hopefuls Toulouse FC face a lengthening list of injured players as they prepare to take on Group J rivals FK Partizan this Thursday.
Doubtful trio
Saturday's 1-0 Ligue 1 victory over US Boulogne proved a costly success for coach Alain Casanova, whose side must defeat Partizan to be sure of earning a chance to face Club Brugge KV on Matchday 6 with a place in the round of 32 still up for grabs. Goalkeeper Yohann Pelé was carried off in the final minute with a ruptured ligament in his left knee and has been ruled out until March, striker André-Pierre Gignac sustained an ankle strain and playmaker Étienne Didot suffered a heel injury. The latter pair will have their fitness monitored closely as the week progresses.
Fofana blow
Defender Mohamed Fofana, who hit the winner on Saturday, is also certain to miss out. He was replaced at half-time at the Stadium Municipal with a large thigh bruise and joins the players already in the Toulouse treatment room: Mauro Cetto (shoulder), Daniel Congré (hamstring), Xavier Pentecôte, Antoine Devaux and Fodé Mansaré (all knee). "I'm really frustrated to have all these missing players," said Casanova.
