Vágner Love's two goals during PFC CSKA Moskva's 3-1 aggregate defeat of Aston Villa FC in the Round of 32 extended the Brazilian's lead at the top of the scorers' chart and brought Jürgen Klinsmann's record of 15 goals in a UEFA Cup campaign ever closer.

Double figures
The 24-year-old, who scored a hat-trick in the Russian club's final group game against AS Nancy-Lorraine in December, took his tally into double figures from only eight matches with a goal in each leg against the English side. Three clear of his nearest pursuers before the Round of 32 commenced, Vágner Love is now four goals ahead of a quartet of players one of whom, Mario Gómez, is no longer involved in the competition.
