Live coverage
The draw ceremony will be conducted by David Taylor, General Secretary of UEFA, and Can Bartu, the ambassador to this season's final in Istanbul. The draw will be transmitted live on Eurosport and uefa.com.

Eight groups of five
The 40 participants will be drawn into eight groups of five, with each team playing two home and two away matches. The 40 sides will be allocated to five pots, in accordance with their respective club coefficient. Pot 1 will comprise the top eight teams in the club coefficient rankings, pot 2 the following eight sides in the rankings, and so on for pots 3, 4 and 5. Clubs from the same national association will not be drawn in the same group.

Media accreditation
Media representatives wishing to attend this draw have to apply via email to accreditations@uefa.ch before Monday 6 October at midday. Because of the number of club representatives expected for the draws, only photographers and a restricted number of cameramen will be allowed to attend the draw in the auditorium, with access being granted on a first-come-first-served basis.

Sound system
A sound system will be installed in the auditorium for ENG crews. Due to interference problems, it is recommended that sound engineers do not use the following frequencies while in the House of European Football: 783.875 MHz, 786.125 MHz, 782.500 MHz, 782.875 MHz, 784.625 MHz, 785.250 MHz, 792.500 MHz and 794.875 MHz.
