Dutch promise
The Netherlands and Romania will each have four clubs involved, with the Dutch hoping to build on a proud history in the tournament. Feyenoord have twice taken the trophy back to Rotterdam and AFC Ajax were victorious in 1992, while PSV Eindhoven made it through to this season's quarter-finals after switching from the UEFA Champions League to become the country's fifth representative in the competition. All who enter the first round will be aiming to reach the final at Fenerbahçe SK's Sükrü Saraçoglu Stadium in May 2009.
