Aberdeen FC have signed Dutch defender David Bus to reinforce their squad for the UEFA Cup Round of 32.
Bayern date
The 29-year-old former De Graafschap player has joined the Scottish Premier League team on a contract until the end of the season. Having passed a medical, Bus could feature in Saturday's home game against Heart of Midlothian FC and may also be registered for the UEFA Cup. Aberdeen will play FC Bayern München in the Round of 32, with the first leg taking place at Pittodrie on 14 February.
Calderwood praise
"Dave has a lot of pace, he's good in the air and can play at centre-half as well as right-back," said Dons manager Jimmy Calderwood said. "He defends going forward because he is not scared of what is behind him due to the pace he possesses." Bus made 79 Dutch league appearances for De Graafschap between the 2004/05 and the 2006/07 campaigns.
