Aberdeen FC have enlisted former Irish international defender Alan Maybury from Leicester City FC, with the left-back arriving on loan for the next five months.

Aberdeen FC have enlisted former Republic of Ireland defender Alan Maybury from Leicester City FC.

Loan signing
The 29-year-old left-back joins the Pittodrie club on loan for the remainder of the season. He returns to Scottish football three years after leaving Heart of Midlothian FC for Leicester, where he made 85 league appearances. The ex-Leeds United AFC player links up with a team that will take on FC Bayern München in the UEFA Cup Round of 32 next month.
