København visit weary Lokomotiv

FC Lokomotiv Moskva will look to put a miserable end to the Russian season behind them as they seek their first Group B win at home against FC København.

• Lokomotiv are playing their first competitive game since the end of the Russian season on 11 November. A 3-2 home defeat by FC Kuban Krasnodar saw Anatoli Byshovets' side end seventh in the Premier Liga - their worst finish since independence.

• Byshovets was dismissed the following day, with the club's former coach and then president Yuri Semin also standing down. "I would like to say sorry to the fans for this season," said Semin. "I did not do enough for the club."

• Reserve team coach Renat Bilyaletdinov, the father of Russian international midfielder and Lokomotiv captain Diniyar, has been placed in temporary charge.

• Lokomotiv have drawn both of their Group B games to date, 3-3 at home against Club Atlético de Madrid, and 1-1 at Aberdeen FC. They are currently second in the section.

• København are yet to get off the mark. They did not play on Matchday 1, losing their opening tie 1-0 at home against Panathinaikos FC in their opening game.

• The two sides have never met in UEFA club competition.

• Lokomotiv have played five previous games against Danish opposition, and won all of them. Most recently, they beat FC Midtjylland 3-1 away and 2-0 at home in the first round to progress to this season's UEFA Cup group stage. Diniyar Bilyaletdinov scored in both legs of that game.

• København have never come up against Russian opposition before.

• Lokomotiv are unbeaten in their last three European home games. København have not won in their last six European away matches.

•Brede Hangeland's next caution will result in a one-match suspension.
