The FC Zürich coach Bernard Challandes has been suspended for one UEFA Cup match by the UEFA Disciplinary Body, and his striker Eric Hassli for three, for gross unsporting conduct in the 2-1 victory at AC Sparta Praha on 25 October.
Suspensions
Challandes will serve his ban when the Swiss title-holders play Toulouse FC on 29 November, while Hassli will miss the rest of their Group E campaign following his sending-off in Prague. AZ Alkmaar forward Ari will also sit out the remainder of the group stage after his dismissal in the 1-1 Group A draw at FC Zenit St. Petersburg on Matchday 1, while SK Brann defender Hassan El-Fakiri has been handed a two-match suspension after being red-carded in the 1-1 Group D draw at Stade Rennais FC on 8 November. Appeals may be lodged against the players' bans within three days of the dispatch of the reasoned decisions.
