Getafe CF have announced the signing of promising 21-year-old forward Braulio Nóbrega, who has joined on a five-year contract from Club Atlético de Madrid.

Getafe CF have announced the signing of promising forward Braulio Nóbrega on a five-year deal from Club Atlético de Madrid.

Salamanca success
The 21-year-old made only one Primera División start for Atlético, featuring on ten further occasions as a substitute, but played twice against AFC Gloria 1922 Bistrita in the UEFA Intertoto Cup this summer. Braulio enjoyed better fortune on loan at second division UD Salamanca last season, scoring 14 goals in 39 league appearances, and will hope to reproduce that form at Getafe, who will enter the UEFA Cup in the first round having reached the final of the Copa del Rey in 2006/07.
