The former Hungary striker Mihály Tóth has returned to his hometown club Budapest Honvéd FC on a three-year contract from Fredrikstad FK in Norway.
Cup wins
The 32-year-old started his career at the Bozsik Stadium in 1993 and won the Hungarian Cup with the Red-and-Blacks in 1996. He also played for Videoton FCF (now FC Fehérvár), Ferencvárosi TC and FC Sopron, where he enjoyed a second cup success in 2005. Tóth also turned out for FC Metz in France, Belgian club KFC Germinal Ekeren and a team in Tunisia before spending three seasons in Norway. Honvéd are favourites to reach the UEFA Cup second qualifying round from their tie against FC Nistru Otaci having drawn the first leg 1-1 in Moldova.
