The French midfielder had already been ruled out of tonight's UEFA Cup Round of 16 first leg at Rangers FC before suffering another injury in training on Monday. "Delporte put his weight on his right leg to take a shot with his left and he tore his right calf muscle," said club doctor Jorge Fernández.
Fifth injury
The 27-year-old has now suffered injuries to the same calf five times this season and the prognosis is not good. "The conditions in which this injury has occurred are not normal and this sets us back to the starting point but this time we haven't set any recovery dates," added Fernández.
