Celta count cost of Oubiña injury

RC Celta de Vigo midfielder Borja Oubiña is out of their UEFA Cup Round of 16 tie with Werder Bremen after tests revealed that he has a slight tear on the back of his right thigh.

Three weeks out
The 24-year-old Spanish international suffered the injury in training, and the head of the club's medical services, Dr Mario Galán, explained: "It is a small tear in a place that is always bad." Oubiña is out for three weeks and will miss both games against Brremen on 8 and 15 March as well as the league encounter with relegation rivals Athletic Club Bilbao this weekend and the subsequent trip to Sevilla FC. "I really wanted to play against Athletic as it will be like a final, but it is not to be," Oubiña said.
