Article body
UEFA Cup surprise package SV Zulte Waregem have strengthened their squad with the attacking signings of Tosin Dosunmu and Sébastien Siani.
Dosunmu ineligible
Nigerian international striker Dosunmu, 26, arrives on a six-month loan from AS Nancy-Lorraine and returns to Belgium having been league top scorer last season with KFC Germinal Beerschot Antwerpen. However, he has managed only two goals for Nancy, and having played for them in the UEFA Cup will not be able to register for European debutants Zulte Waregem in the remainder of the competition. Dosunmu said he did not feel any pressure on returning to Belgian football: "I am just trying to do my job extremely well."
'Family' welcome
Also signing for the rest of the season is RSC Anderlecht's Siani, who can play in midfield or up front. The 20-year-old Cameroonian youth international did not appear in Anderlecht's European campaign, having last been picked for their first team in 2005/06, so is eligible to be added to Zulte Waregem's selection ahead of their Round of 32 tie with Newcastle United FC in February. "I am glad to be able to play for Zulte Waregem," Siani said after joining the mid-table side. "I have not been welcomed to a club so much as a family."
