AS Livorno Calcio have signed midfielder Carmine Coppola from FC Messina Peloro on loan until the end of the season.
Italy caps
Coppola, who turns 28 next week, joins Livorno after five and a half seasons with Messina for whom he played 13 games this season. The combative midfielder has won two caps for Italy having made his Azzurri debut in a friendly against Serbia and Montenegro in 2005 and is eligible to be registered for Livorno's meeting with RCD Espanyol in the UEFA Cup Round of 32 next month. Meanwhile 33-year-old defender Stefano Argilli has left Livorno to join Serie B side Frosinone Calcio.
