UEFA Cup contenders RC Celta de Vigo will be without midfielder Borja Oubiña for a month after he suffered a hairline fracture to a bone in his right foot.
Painful injury
The 24 year-old will be out of action until after the Christmas break in Spain although the club's medical staff are confident he will be fit in time for Celta's UEFA Cup Round of 32 meeting with Russian side FC Spartak Moskva in February. "He's got a hairline fracture of the fifth toe of his right foot," said club doctor Mario Galán. "Although it's not a serious injury, it'll be painful over the next four weeks." Oubiña has played in 13 league games and five UEFA Cup games this season, which is his third since he joined the senior side from the reserves in 2003.
