Heller headed for Eintracht

UEFA Cup contenders Eintracht Frankfurt have announced the signing of talented striker Marcel Heller from third division outfit Sportfreunde Siegen.

Future option
The 20-year-old forward has signed a contract until the summer of 2010 but will not be available for Friedhelm Funkel's side until the transfer window opens on 1 January 2007. The youngster joined Siegen in summer from TSV Alemannia Aachen reserves and has scored four goals. Heribert Bruchhagen, head of Eintracht's board, said: "Marcel is to be built up for the future and is also eligible for our reserve team." Eintracht travel to RC Celta de Vigo on Thursday for their second Group H match in the UEFA Cup after losing their opener 2-1 at home against US Città di Palermo.
