Tokić adds to Austria's woes

Croatian defender Mario Tokić will miss the remainder of FK Austria Wien's UEFA Cup group-stage campaign after tearing a muscle in his thigh.

Painful tear
The 31-year-old felt a pain in his thigh during last night's 4-2 Austrian Cup defeat by FCS Pasching and had to be substituted shortly after half-time. Scans have revealed a torn muscle and he is not expected to play again until next year, meaning that he will miss Georg Zellhofer's side's remaining Group F games against AC Sparta Praha and RCD Espanyol. Austria are currently bottom of the group with defeats in both of their opening fixtures.
