Rest prescribed
The 25-year-old was forced off the pitch after 45 minutes of the first-leg tie in Bratislava after damaging ligaments in his left knee. Club doctor Miguel Cervera has ordered García to rest his knee meaning he is certain to sit out the return match in Barcelona on 28 September and any possible group-stage engagements, although Cervera has ruled out surgery pending further tests. "You can't do anything except hope for a quick recovery," said García.
