Twente return for Oude-Kamphuis

Niels Oude-Kamphuis has rejoined his first club FC Twente on a two-year contract after being released by VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach at the end of last term.

The one-time Dutch international left Twente in 1999, with 126 senior appearances under his belt, to play for FC Schalke 04. He spent six seasons with the Gelsenkirchen team before moving to Mönchengladbach for a solitary campaign. The Bundesliga side allowed the 28-year-old midfielder to return to the Netherlands for personal reasons. Twente drew 1-1 at home against FC Levadia Tallinn in their UEFA Cup second qualifying round tie, with the second leg on 24 August.
