AZ Alkmaar could be without Joseph Didulica for the start of their UEFA Cup campaign after the goalkeeper was ruled out for five weeks with an ankle injury.
Big doubt
The 28-year-old Croatian international damaged ligaments in the closing stages of AZ's opening Eredivisie game of the season, Saturday's 8-1 home win against NAC Breda. Tests yesterday revealed the extent of the injury, making him a major doubt for the UEFA Cup first round on 14 September. The Australia-born Didulica joined AZ in June after three years with FK Austria Wien, where he made 87 league appearances.
