The 22-year-old put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the 2005/06 domestic champions before joining up with the national team ahead of their UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Poland. At Crvena Zvezda, the left-sided Trišović will replace international team-mate Boško Janković who has joined Spain's RCD Mallorca.
'Highest stage'
"This transfer means so much to me," said Trišović. "Finally I get the chance to play on the highest stage and I am ready for it. The domestic competitions and the UEFA Cup are a big incentive for me." Trišović, who started out at FK Sloga Kraljevo, joined OFK Beograd in 2004 before moving to Ukraine, where he has played for SC Volyn Lutsk and Kryvbas. He made his Serbia debut on 16 August, scoring in their 3-1 friendly win against the Czech Republic.
