Palermo plump for Godeas

US Città di Palermo coach Luigi Del Neri has added to his attacking options by paying US Triestina Calcio a reported €1.2m for Denis Godeas.

Slavia test
The 30-year-old has impressed in Serie B this season, scoring nine goals in 21 matches. Godeas experienced top-flight football for the first time in 2002/03 when he found the net once in 12 games for Como Calcio. Palermo will face SK Slavia Praha in the UEFA Cup Round of 32 on 15 and 23 February.
