Free transfer
Khokhlov, who will be 30 in a fortnight, spent the last three seasons at Lokomotiv, helping them to win the Russian title in the 2004 campaign. The central midfield player's contract has just expired and he has now joined Dinamo on a free transfer, signing a two-year contract.
'Several offers'
"I had several offers from other Premier-Liga clubs, but my decision was always going to be influenced by the fact Dinamo are coached by Yuri Semin," he said. Semin was Lokomotiv coach up until this season when, after a brief spell as Russia's national-team coach, he joined Dinamo.
Extended deals
Meanwhile, Lokomotiv have secured two-year extensions to the contracts of defenders Sergei Gurenko and Oleg Pashinin. However, club president Valeri Filatov has announced that Brazilian defensive midfielder Francisco Lima will not be returning to the club after walking out on the eve of key matches in the league and UEFA Cup. His contract was due to expire in July 2006.
