Attacking approach suits Levski

Angelov back
The trio suffered muscle strains in Friday's 5-0 Bulgarian Premier League defeat of Slavia, and face fitness tests. Stoilov said: "We will know on Thursday who will be fit." According to the coach, Angelov has the best chance of playing in Levski's Group F opener, and if Domovchiyski and Yovov are ruled out, Stoilov may name teenagers Nikolay Dimitrov and Mariyan Ognyanov in his squad.

Stoilov optimism
"We will go out and play attacking football but we won't take risks. If we can repeat our performance from the [first-round] victory against AJ Auxerre, we will have a good chance of getting something from the game. We have watched Dinamo several times and know them very well."

Mixed fortunes
Midfielders Domovchiyski and Daniel Borimirov scored twice against Slavia while Dimitar Telkiyski added the fifth as Levski remained second in their division. By contrast, Dinamo, held 0-0 at home by SC Heerenveen on Matchday 1, disappointed in being knocked out of the Romanian Cup by second-division opponents FC Petrolul Ploiesti before drawing 1-1 at home against CS Jiul Petrosani on Saturday.

Duo return
Coach Ioan Andone is adamant the Romanian league leaders must raise their game. "If we will play like we did against Jiul, we have no chance. We'll have to give our best." Andone at least has a full complement of players, including returning captain Florentin Petre and top scorer Claudiu Niculescu, who had been out for six weeks. The latter may feature as a second-half substitute.
