Caracciolo scored 12 goals in 34 games last season but failed to prevent Brescia being relegated. The 23-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Sicilian club who will play in the UEFA Cup after finishing sixth in Serie A last season.
Italy cap
Caracciolo, capped once by Italy in a November 2004 friendly against Finland, has scored 27 goals in four seasons in the top flight, three with Brescia and one on loan at AC Perugia. Brescia, meanwhile, are the ninth club of much-travelled 29-year-old Possanzini's career.
