Sidney settles for Braga

SC Braga have unveiled Brazilian midfielder Sidney after the 28-year-old completed his transfer from FC Penafiel.

Two-year deal
Sidney arrives to fill the gap left by Luís Loureiro's departure for FC Dinamo Moskva last January. He has signed a two-year contract after an impressive first term in Portugal with Penafiel, following spells in his homeland with Guarani FC, Fluminense FC, SC Recife and Sao Paulo FC.

Forwards needed
Braga, fourth in the SuperLiga last season, hope to strengthen their squad further according to president António Salvador. "The team needs another two forwards, but I think the situation can be resolved over the next week."
